Dr. Sidney Weiss

Sidney Weiss, M.D. Is a board-certified ophthalmologist who takes care of patients of any age with any condition involving the eyes or eyelids. He specializes in the evaluation and treatment of strabismus, amblyopia, and other pediatric disorders.

Dr. Weiss did his undergraduate work at Stanford University and attended medical school at Stanford Medical School. He completed an ophthalmology residency at a UCLA teaching hospital and completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at UCLA

Dr. Weiss is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and a member of the Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group. For many years, he taught eye residents as a member of the clinical ophthalmology staff at the University of California, Irvine, and the UCLA Department of Ophthalmology.

Doctor lives in southern Orange County with his wife of over thirty years who is a retired attorney. Dr. Weiss has two grown children, both of whom are enjoying careers in health care.
